The Finance Division consists of:
Finance

1. Manages the annual budget of the Prisons Department
2. Manages the payment vouchers for various claims under the operating expenditure
3. Manages the payment of government purchase orders through the e-Procurement System under the operating expenditure
4. Manages payment of salary under the operating expenditure
5. Manages the management account reconciliation for the Prisons Department Headquarters
6. Manages revenue for the Prisons Department Headquarters
7. Manages the reconciliation of the Prisons Department revenue account (branch accounting system level)
8. Manages the revenue collection of the Prisons Department Inmate Rehabilitation and Welfare Trust Account – code 86901
9. Manages payments for the Prisons Department Inmate Rehabilitation and Welfare Trust Account – code 86901
10. Manages the month/year end account closing for the Prisons Department Inmate Rehabilitation and Welfare Trust Account – code 86901
11. Manages staff computer, vehicle and home loans
12. Manages the petty cash and special escort imprest
13. Prepares the statement of reconciliation for the Prisoners’ Earnings Trust Account and the Prison Officers’ Reward Fund (code 866904/866905)
